It’s 400 years since 1619 — and, once again, America returns to the shortest month of the year to acknowledge that it’s BLACK HISTORY MONTH.
The last three years have been bitter ones for people of color generally, as the Trump Administration has made fairly clear to anyone paying attention to news outlets that are not Fox, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Brietbart. Those are the media outlets that 65% of Republicans, in a recent Pew Foundation study, trusted to get their ‘news’ from (and those are the President’s favored sources). The Year — early 1960’s.
The State the father lived — Alabama.
