They are patriots for all the reasons that we know Jan 6 was an act of treason and an attempt by the 147 +8 to overturn the will of the people and shatter democracy. Both of them realize that a partyh with Trump in control is utter disaster. He is a liar. A coward. A cheat. And he pays no heed to the laws of this nation. I think I would disagree with every policy Ms Chaney and I discuss--I would fight for her right to have those views--but she understands that this is how we govern, not by authoritarian means but from the will of the people. Why is it not- bi-partisan? Becasue the only memebers that the Minority speaker would place were the actual members like Jim Jordon who were to be investigated! Heck, they had to testify!
