Hmm. Sounds like you need to be the institution, not the school. You drive what they see. You be the voice they hear. You be the one to pull them from the computer/ phone. You be the one to teach them to write and think and measure it not with standardized tests but with written, oral and creative assessments you decide are worthy. That’s what I did for 32 years.
