I have read the NY Times article and this one in USA Today. After reading both — there is no doubt in my mind that this allegation is just that — unproven and politally motivated to support Sanders ( not Bernie’s idea at all, but it is hers.)

As for your response above: after you read the USA Today article, then see if your opinion holds. Also, to argue that the presumtive nominee needs to step down is a contradiction of the principle of ‘presumed innocent until proven guilty’. — By stepping down, he puts himself out of the race for a time that could be unlimited (since the allegation and investigation could be extended on and on…and, though I respect your cynicism about the staffers (and you overall support for women, too), you conclusion is so extreme as to make one wonder your motive. Ms R is clearly a Sanders supporter (as well as a Putin supporter) and the interview was given (conspictuously) on the exact day Sanders was forced to concede. But all of this is just part of the article I think you need to read before making such a harsh judgment.
