As good as it would feel to have Trump out of office, ultimately these ads serve as a staunch reminder of the types of people that Biden’s actually going to be listening to. Considering the fact that the “task forces” couldn’t even get Joe Biden’s platform to change in favor of the legalization of marijuana, it has already been more than clear that it’s still money and power that he responds to more than anything else, and the right wing certainly has plenty of it. There is no doubt in my mind that Joe Biden’s entire team is aware of the fact that these viral videos are leaving their mark on the 2020 election, and they would rather make a deal with the devil than make some of their own. These ads are nothing more than a veiled attempt for the right wing elites and the military industrial complex’s attempt to maintain their dominance, and should be treated as such.
