Janice--exactly. The two biggest stories are Ukraine and Gaza. It seems to me that if CBS (and all the others,too ) have video of something, that gets air-time. A roller coaster breaks, a car crashes in a river, a dog gets saved from flooding waters. That's the stuff of local news. Again, Nora makes the call on these things because she is the executive producer.
