Landon: I know what you are saying about the rural issues. Dems are working more now (especially on internet access) and candidates like Beto are heading out to all 240+ counties. Candidates like Abby Spanberger are very bipartisan and very invested in her state of Virginia The issue of meeting in the middle is that there is a profit motive for the right wing/ Fox/ Carlson & Hannity crowd to keep pumping blame on anything and everything possible, mostly government. Even when Trump was in power, he represented anti-government. The notion that the individual is best and the government is the enemy of the people, along with the media/journalism--Fox being entertainment (as they even gleefully admit). So there will have to be a reckoning. Sooner than later, the majority of Americans have to wake up to the reality that the dark forces are really white, racist authoritarians who are the minority and have no interest in creating a perfect "Union"--rather they are only interested in only themselves and their inherent white privilege.
