Not the ‘entire’ Republican Party. And not ‘a war’…the party knows they cannot win with a limited base ( white mostly) so they want to play the game of removing voters they do not think will support them from power. They don’t WANT to have a war on their hands. They just want the the brown/ Black/ poor/ etc. voters to submit to their will. And when called out they say ( as Trump did), “I’m the least racist person there is.” They are trying to survive as the world changes from the Baby Boom to the new global order.
