Okay. Two things. 1 it’s first grade ( pivotal grade) so the failure is ‘celebrated’ aspect needs to be considered with 6–7 year olds. They bounce back well and with a kind teacher who is patient it is s winning formula. However, that is a primary grade situation. 2. ‘Failure is not an option’ is my high school preference. If you fail, you learn from the errors and correct course. Too much failing and floundering can make a student quit trying.
