I have friends who don’t was mentally ill and the story is tragic for all the reasons that develop when the son/ daughter refuses to admit, accept and take action to treat their serious mental health.
For them, they did EVERYTHING ONE CAN IMAGINE over the years.
It did not turn out well.

So do what you can and know your limits. It is a black hole.

I will think of you and hope for the best.
