Thanks for the response. I appreciate it! No, I’m a public school retired teacher. And , no, I would NOT BE fired. Far from it; my classes were very much in demand. The title of my essay mislead you, and the teaching colleagues who thought my content was ‘too liberal’ were wrong on two counts 1. I taught facts/ events and the reasons that perpetuate them.
