That happens when one’s life is dependent on treatment for a calamity like a burst appendix? Doesn’t The suffer have a right to treatment to save one’s life? Or does the emergency room’s doctors merely shrug and disregard the unfortunate soul. Answer: no doctor in this nation would turn that suffer away. Why? Because it is their duty based on the intrinsic duty to preserve life — the ultimate ‘right’ of all people to then secure liberty and pursue happiness. Pretty simple really.
