To answer your questions, DTW, 1. I am not black, 2. I have not tried to vote in the Deep South, although I have been there and witnessed acts of discrimination presonally, 3. I spent 32 years teaching about discrimination in a public high school 4. I coached the State Champions in California is Debae and the discussions and evidence about discrimination is something I have been quite familiar with. 5. I do not believe I have to be black (although I have numerous experiences with black friends and students) to comment and have a strong opinion on voter supression of people of color. I respect your question to me — here are some very good books that I have taught , read, and live my values by: “To Kill a Mockingbird”; J.
