…es. These are more quantifiable than “softer” parts of the resume like extracurriculars or service. If a college is trying to decide between two students who both seem to have lovely personalities, involved themselves in lots of clubs, and had glowing letters of recommendation, but Student A has a higher GPA and ACT scores than Student B, we’d expect Student A to get in.
Sorting Students Is Hard. Just Let Them In.
