Two-thirds of a smaller population of votes — a much smaller population of younger votes. Bernie was obliterated in most of the states. So if your premise is that young voters are the key to why Sanders should have been the nominee, then they simply did not show. Oh, BTW I do not believe older voters ‘know what’s best for younger Americans — as you conclude. Older voters are just older. Sometimes wiser, sometimes not. Older Americans are drawn to the silly Fox Network in droves. So really what it boils down to is competitency. And Obama/ Biden had it in spades. Biden (in a single term) and his VP will surround themselves with people that are competitent and who believe in government.
