As Heather Cox Richardson pointed out: “Marcotte recalled that Catherine Rampell and Youyou Zhou of the Washington Post showed before the election that voters overwhelmingly preferred Harris’s policies to Trump’s if they didn’t know which candidate proposed them.” Trump and his advisors of course see the election results as a clear mandate. We are in for a wild ride. Many people who either voted for Trump, or stayed home in protest, are going to find out just how damaging those policies are likely to be. Expect the mid-terms to be very heated.
